Humana Military Healthcare Services Launches New Website Focusing on Beneficiaries and Providers
 LOUISVILLE, KY — May 19, 2008— Humana Military Healthcare Services (HMHS) announces the launching of the newly redesigned website, mirroring the design of our parent company, Humana Inc., to create cohesiveness and consistency among the enterprise. The new HMHS web site is more user-friendly and easier for visitors to quickly find information and services they seek. The new site went live on May 14.
“Our focus remains on customer service,” said Dave Baker, president and CEO of HMHS. “We wanted to create a more intuitive website to ensure our customers receive useful information on their TRICARE benefit that is easy to find. As important, is the emphasis on the secure sections for our beneficiaries and providers. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and our new site.”
One feature of the revised site is the navigational bar at the top of each page, allowing users to be a mouse click away from some of the most frequently used sections on the site. The navigational bars are unique to the Beneficiary, Provider and Government portals. For example, the Beneficiary navigation bar includes: TRICARE Plans, Enrollment, Health and Wellness, Tools and Resources, and Find a Provider.
Two areas receiving a noticeable makeover are the beneficiary and provider portals. Both beneficiaries and providers logging onto the site will see reorganized content sections, in addition to highlights promoting popular features and quick links to the most searched for content. Beneficiaries familiar with the former website design will notice a greater emphasis on enrollment information and behavioral health. Providers visiting the site will discover more useful claims related information. They will also find the site easier to navigate. Government workers and military leadership interested in healthcare staffing or appointment services offered through HMHS can do so by visiting the Government section.
