Beginning January 1, 2021, Congress directed DHA to implement enrollment fees for TRICARE Select Group A retirees as part of the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act.
Allotment - Group A retired beneficiaries are required to pay enrollment fees each month via allotment when feasible, and make a one-time monthly payment.
If you are unable to pay by allotment, you must set up automatic payments via bank account or credit/debit card.
Prime allotment - if you are a retired sponsor under the age of 65, you can have your Prime enrollment premiums deducted directly from your military retirement pay.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - each month your enrollment premiums will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - Enrollment premiums are automatically deducted monthly from your bank account.
Recurring Credit Card (RCC) - Enrollment premiums are automatically deducted monthly from your credit/debit card.
If you are one of the above, please either set up your payment by EFT or RCC. All other beneficiary types should set up allotment payments.
