If you are happy with your current plan, no action is required during Open Season.
TRICARE Prime and Select enrollees may only switch benefit plans during Open Season. Changes made during this time will go into effect on January 1, 2019. If you remain eligible and make no changes during Open Season, you’ll stay in the same plan for 2019.
Please note that TRICARE Standard was replaced with TRICARE Select at the beginning of 2018. If you wish to have Standard-like benefits, you must enroll in Select.
