In order to provide ABA services to TRICARE beneficiaries, ABA providers must be TRICARE-certified. TRICARE recognizes three certification types: Assistant Behavior Analyst, Behavior Analyst and Behavior Technician. Once certified, providers can apply to join the TRICARE East network.
If you are applying as an autism center, autism clinic or an individually-authorized ABA supervisor with contractual agreements, you must complete the Autism Care Corporate Services Provider (ACSP) certification application. Note: Individually-authorized ABA supervisors who are behavior analysts should complete the Individual Behavior Analyst Certification Application and do not have to complete the ACSP application.
Apply for ACSP certificationFor providers who are certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or certified by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) as a Qualified Autism Services Practitioner or Supervisor (QASP/QASP-S).
Apply for Assistant Behavior Analyst certificationFor providers certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D).
Apply for Behavior Analyst certificationFor providers certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or certified by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) as an Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), or certified by the Behavioral Intervention Certification Council (BICC) as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT).
