Apply to become TRICARE-certified

In order to provide ABA services to TRICARE beneficiaries, ABA providers must be TRICARE-certified. TRICARE recognizes three certification types: Assistant Behavior Analyst, Behavior Analyst and Behavior Technician. Once certified, providers can apply to join the TRICARE East network.

Autism Care Corporate Services Providers (ACSP)

If you are applying as an autism center, autism clinic or Sole Provider (individual ABA supervisor without tiered delivery model), you must complete the Autism Care Corporate Services Provider (ACSP) certification application. Note: Sole Providers who are behavior analysts should also complete the Individual Behavior Analyst Certification Application.

Assistant Behavior Analyst certification

For providers who are state licensed/state certified as required by state regulations, or certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or certified by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) as a Qualified Autism Services Practitioner or Supervisor (QASP/QASP-S).

For providers who are state licensed/state certified as required by state regulations, or certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D)

Behavior Technician certification

For providers who are state licensed/state certified as required by state regulations, or certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or certified by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) as an Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), or certified by the Behavioral Intervention Certification Council (BICC) as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT).

Join the network

In order to become a TRICARE network provider, you must be TRICARE-certified AND:

  • Accept the TRICARE Maximum Allowable Charge (TMAC) minus an agreed-upon discount as payment in full
  • Agree to submit claims electronically for TRICARE beneļ¬ciaries
  • Agree to a discount off the 100 percent TMAC or billed charges if no TMAC exists
